Elio Germano and the (creative) youth of today

Creative people. Like Elio Germano, lead actor of Danile Vicari's film Il passato é una terra straniera, the preview of which was held yesterday evening. Elio Germano's face was the first we saw upon our arrival at the MINI Lounge. It's the face of an uncomplicated man with absolutely no airs or graces, wearing jeans and a T-shirt. He attends this Hollywood party in the company of the director, and reveals interesting aspects of how the film was made, such as the extraordinary acting talent of one Michele Riondino: "He has a lot of experience to draw on...I've done more film, but he's done more theater," Elio admits.

Jessica Biel

He's a good actor, that Elio Germano: Expressive, versatile, and able to play various roles without reducing them to a single mask. A young, creative man with talent, just like the majority of those who enliven and maintain the MINI Space Community. They surf on the homepage, participate in exciting projects, make their work available to others and check out the work of other people. In other words, they contribute to the growth and enrichment of our virtual community, the goal of which is to develop the creative potential of each individual.
As a result of the competition to give away access passes to the MINI Lounge, we have already had the opportunity to get to know you a little bit better: In particular, what you like when it comes to cinema. You wrote to us about that, and we'll come back to it in a few days. But for now, it's time to focus on one of you that we met here in the 'Santa Cecilia' hall. We're talking about Raffa, who paid us a visit on the weekend, and who was there for the meeting with Ed Harris.

Cinema
The 30-year-old pianist (on October 31 she will actually turn 31, which means her birthday will fall on the coming Friday of the festival), who has also studied physics, can be described as a creative person with a multitude of cultural interests. She is a young woman who shares the twin passions of music and science.
And cinema? She loves it! Favorite film? Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, a Tom Stoppard film from 1990, based on the play of the same name by the English writer and director.
Here at the festival, Raffa caught Agnès Jaoui's Parlez-moi de la puie!. When she tells us that "I learnt to drive in a MINI," we are reminded of where we are.

Francesco Calderone and others
Francesco Calderone, Giampietro Balia and Verdiana Milia
And while we're talking about creative young people: Today, the lead actors and winners of the Young Directors Project (YDP3) can be seen for the first time. Francesco Calderone, Giampietro Balia and Verdiana Milla are three filmmakers who had the chance to present their short films, to an audience including numerous film journalists, as part of an event here in the MINI Lounge. How does the saying go? The young directors are growing up! After presenting their works, the three young directors were treated to a cracking party in their honor here in the MINI Lounge, while simultaneously on the red carpet, a radiant Jessica Biel (lead actor in Stephan Elliot's Easy Virtue) submitted to the flashlights of the photographers - an absolute delight for the Roman audience.
