MINI Space Photo Competition

We've almost made it to the New Year, but before we leave 2009 behind forever we give you one more competition to keep you busy over the holidays. For this competition we asked YOU, the MINI Space community, to come up with the theme. Tons of great ideas came in, but we decided that “Escape” would be the most inspirational for this photography competition. You can escape FROM somewhere or TO somewhere. You can escape internally into your thoughts and imagination or externally into the world. Show us “Escape” in your photos and submit them here on MINI Space.

Creative Brief

The theme of this photography competition is “Escape”, so we ask you to interpret the concept of “Escape” by using a photograph. Let your imagination and your creative eye lead you in your own photographic interpretation. You can tweak your photo, skew it, distort it, polish it, or just leave it a snapshot. The only rule is: No purely vector based designs. Every entry needs to be based on a photographic element in order to be eligible for consideration.

To sum up

-	Submit a photographic image that interprets the theme “Escape” in exceptional, new and creative ways and that works both as a background on MINI Space and as a stand-alone work of art.
-	The image has to be based on a photograph, but can be digitally altered as long as the original photograph is still identifiable. Purely vector based submissions will not be considered for winning.
-	Follow the briefing and the specifications and make sure you own the rights to all elements of your submission.
-	Your entries can depict the MINI, but this does not influence your chances of winning.
-	Do NOT use the MINI logo.
-	Your image should be 1280x800 pixels in size and JPG or GIF format.
-	File size limit for GIF is 100KB, for JPG 4 MB.
